The contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 07.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-25578-2024. 2. The relevant para of order dated 07.05.2025, is reproduced as under:- “3. Learned counsel for the respondent-State has not been able to rebut that the issue raised in the present petition has already been decided by this Court and submits that the impugned order be treated as withdrawn with liberty to pass a fresh order on the issue which speaking order will be passed within a period of eight weeks and in case, it is found feasible to grant the relief to the petitioner, the same will be granted, otherwise, due reasons will be mentioned in the speaking order for not accepting the same.” 3. Learned counsel for respondent-State contends that in compliance of order dated 07.05.2025, speaking order dated 27.08.2025, has MOHD AYUBbeen passed. Copy of the same has been supplied to learned counsel for the 2025.09.03 15:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment. COCP-3867-2025 -2- petitioner and also placed on record. 4. A perusal of speaking order dated 27.08.2025, shows that order dated 07.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-25578-2024, has been complied with. This fact is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, contempt is purged and rule is discharged. 6. Needless to say that the petitioner can avail the remedy as is available to his in accordance with law to challenge the speaking order dated 27.08.2025.
