PAPUDIPPU SASHIDAR REDDY The Court made the following: ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.1423 of 2025 on 21.01.2025. 2. The petitioner has filed the aforesaid writ petition aggrieved by wherein this Court passed the following order: “…In view of the above, instead of keeping the writ petition pending, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 to initiate further action in accordance with law in pursuance of the preliminary notice issued on 10.05.2024 as early as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.” 2. Heard Sri. S.S. Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri. P. Vengala Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.1 and Sri. P. Sashidar Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.2. 3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 17.02.2025 before the respondent corporation duly enclosing a copy of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.1423 of 2025, dated 21.01.2025 requesting the respondents to direct respondent No.4 to stop the work commenced by the 4th respondent in the writ petition. Thereafter, the respondent corporation has issued ‘Work Stop Order’ dated 01.03.2025 to the 4th respondent in compliance to the order passed by this Court. 4. However, during pendency of the present contempt case, the petitioner also filed W.P.No.8347 of 2025 before this Court challenging the inaction of the respondent authorities in permitting the 4th respondent to proceed with the construction activity in Door No.19/767, Jumma Masjid Street, Kadapa and the same is pending for adjudication. 5. As the respondent corporation has already issued ‘Work Stop Order’ dated 01.03.2025 to the 4th respondent in pursuance of the order dated 21.01.2025, this Court does not find any contempt. However, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue alternative remedy, if any. 6. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
