This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 Nayab Tehsildar Muhammadabad, District Ghazipur to decide the Case No.7066/2024, Computerized No.T202414290207066, Juganoo Rai vs. Gajadhar Rai, U/s 209(Ja) U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, pending before respondent no.2 expeditiously preferably as soon as possible within stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that restoration application is pending consideration in mutation proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 since 2024. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said application. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for a counter affidavit, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to decide the said restoration application strictly in accordance with law, within one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
