Phukan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D P Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam This is an application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS,2023 whereby the petitioner Akash Singh has prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in connection with Hatigaon P.S. Case No. 08/2025. Page No.# 2/2 On 17.01.2025, when the informant was returning home, two boys coming in a motorcycle snatched away her gold chain from her neck. Police arrested the present petitioner and another person called Rupam Ali. Two mobile handsets suspected to be stolen were recovered from them. Both of them were found to be involved in several cases under different police stations. The petitioner filed a bail application before the Judicial Magistrate and the same was rejected. He filed an application before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, FTC, Kamrup (Metro). Again his bail application was rejected. Today, after hearing the learned counsel of both sides, this court is of the opinion that no good ground for bail could be established by the petitioner, therefore, the present bail application stands dismissed and disposed of.
