Wife's petition under Section 24 CPC with the following prayer: "WHEREFORE, the Petitioner humbly pray that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to: a) Call the records in M.C.No.53/2024 on the file of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court at Kolar; b) To transfer the petition in M.C.No.53/2024 from learned Principal Judge, Family Court at Kolar to the IV Additional Family Judge Court, Bengaluru." 3. Facts of the case are as under: Matrimonial relationship between the parties is strained and therefore respondent has filed a petition for divorce in M.C.No.53/2024 on the file of Prl. Judge, Family - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:46972 CP No. 247 of 2025 Court, Kolar. Wife residing at Bengaluru is seeking transfer of the case from Family Court, Kolar to Bengaluru Court on the ground of geographical distance and financial incapacity. 4. Financial incapacity and geographical distance are no longer good parameters for transfer of a case from one Court to another Court in view of video conferencing facility. If the petitioner files an application before the Court at Kolar to effectively participate in the pending matrimonial proceedings through video conferencing, the learned Judge shall permit the petitioner to do so.
