This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Additional District Magistrate, District Jaunpur (Respondent no.2) to decide Restoration application dated 23.11.2022 in Case no. 2016143600224/2016, (Pankaj Kumar Singh Vs. Om Prakash & others) U/s 28 of Land Revenue Act, pending before him within stipulated period at an early date as may be fixed by this Hon'ble court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that a restoration application in proceedings under Section 28 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901 is pending consideration before respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- Additional District Magistrate, District Jaunpur to decide the restoration application dated 23.11.2022 in Case no. 2016143600224/2016, (Pankaj Kumar Singh Vs. Om Prakash & others), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.
