1. The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia seeking direction to the respondent to refund 100% of the total amount of contributions of the petitioners alongwith interest 15 % from the date of their retirement till the actual date of payment.
2. Notice of motion.
3. On asking of the Court, Mr. Puru Jarewal, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and waives service.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that the petitioners shall be satisfied if, at this stage, directions are issued to respondent No.2, to decide the Legal Notice of the petitioners dated 04.03.2025 (Annexure P-6) within a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondents does not oppose the said prayer.
6. In view thereof and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, to decide the Legal Notice dated 04.03.2025 (Annexure P-6), within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this
order.
7. Needless to say that the Legal Notice shall be decided after giving due notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and by passing a speaking/reasoned order.

Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
