05/ 06.08.2025 Heard learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned D.S.G.I. for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with R.C. Case No. 02(A)/2022-R, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 109 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) read with Sections 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, pending in the court of learned AJC-XVIII-cum- Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi. 3. Mr. M.S. Mittal, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that he has entrusted with the renovation work of the guest house of the VVIP lounge in the stadium relating to 34th National Games. He submits that a bill has been submitted to the tune of rupees one crore and odd, however, only 38 lakhs has been paid and the petitioner has made several representations to the authorities concerned to pay the remaining amount, in spite of that, the petitioner has been made accused. He further submits that falsely the petitioner has been implicated. He also submits that now the chargesheet has been

submitted in the case and during investigation, the petitioner has co- operated in the investigation. 4. Mr. Prashant Pallav, learned D.S.G.I. appearing for the CBI has opposed the prayer and submits that in the chargesheet, materials are there against the petitioner. 5. Considering that the chargesheet has already been submitted and during the investigation, it appears that the petitioner has co-operated in the investigation that’s why the CBI has not arrested him and further one of the co-accused has already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail by this court in A.B.A. No. 3381 of 2025 by the order dated 01.08.2025, I am inclined to provide privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.
Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned AJC-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi, in connection with R.C. Case No. 02(A)/2022-R, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Amitesh/-
