The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter alia with the prayer to renew the firearm license bearing License No.AB0613883 of the petitioner expeditiously. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though considerable time has already been lapsed but till date nothing has been done. 4. In response to the above, learned Standing counsel appearing for the State submits that the respondent no.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 5. Considering the facts of the present case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2- District Magistrate, Jhansi to take a decision in the matter expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
