The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to refund the amount of Rs.88,320/- and Rs.58,629/- recovered from petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.2 respectively from their salary and leave encashment, along with interest @ 12% per annum. 2. Reply by way of an affidavit of Sh. Naman Jain, Divisional Engineer, Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation, on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, has been filed in the Court today which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Learned counsels for the parties are ad idem that the instant petition is squarely covered by a judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Punjab and others Vs. Rafiq Masih (White Washer) etc., 2015(1) S.C.T., 195. 4. The present petition is allowed in the same terms as in Rafiq Masih's case (supra). 5.
