Since case of the petitioner forwarded by the Principal Government Senior Secondary School Paurakothi, Tehsil Sundernagar, District Mandi, for regularization, is pending consideration before the competent authority for quite long time, he is compelled to approach this Court in the instant proceedings, seeking therein direction to competent authority to take decision with regard to regularization in a time bound manner.

Having perused averments contained in the petition, which is duly supported by an affidavit as well as documents annexed therewith, this court finds that petitioner, who, at present, is working as PTA (GIA) Language Teacher in the afore school, is seeking
- 2 - regularization on account of his having passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Educaiton, Dharamshala, principal of the school concerned after having taken note of clearance of examination by the petitioner, has already recommended his case to Deputy Director (Elementary Education) (Annexure P-2), but afore authority has till date not taken any decision.

Having regard to nature of prayer and order proposed to be passed in the instant proceedings, this Court sees no necessity to call for any reply from the respondents, who are otherwise represented by Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General. He states that decision, if not already taken on communication dated (Annexure P-2), shall be taken expeditiously.

Consequently, in view of the above, present petition is
disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Director (Elementary Education), District Mandi, to take follow up action on communication dated 3.7.2024, if not already taken, expeditiously, preferably, within four weeks. Needless to say, authority concerned while doing the needful, shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. Pending applications, if any, also stand
