This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(1) issue a writ, order of direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 17.5.2025 passed by the Additional Commissioner (Administration) IV Gorakhpur Division Gorakhpur in Appeal No.1807 of 2023, Amrendra versus Anand & others (contained in Annexure No.1 to writ petition)." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that a partition decree was passed in proceedings under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. One of the co-sharer filed a restoration application which was dismissed, against which an appeal was preferred which was partly allowed and the matter was remanded back for deciding the partition suit afresh. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the partition suit is still pending. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for a counter affidavit, the writ petition is disposed of requiring the respondent no.2 to take a final decision on the said partition suit within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law, after hearing all the affected parties. 4.
