Chandra Murthy, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 to 4 and Srmt. B.V. Aparna Lakshmi, learned standing counsel for respondent No.5. 2. The petitioner, Field Assistant of Anikera Gram Panchayat, Annamayya District, filed the above writ petition complaining that respondents 4 and 5 are not allowing the petitioner to discharge his duties, without issuing any notice. SRS,J W.P.No.5055 of 2025 3. The petitioner was appointed, as Senior Mate under NREGS and deployed as Field Assistant in the aforementioned Gram Panchayat, vide proceedings Roc.No.D2/762/2016 dated 11.06.2016. The petitioner has been discharging duties without any remarks. However, due to political rivalry, respondents 4 and 5, without issuing any notice, are interfering with the petitioner’s discharging duties. 4. Learned standing counsel submitted instructions of Project Director, respondent No.4 and the same are placed on record. 5. A perusal of the instructions would indicate that the petitioner failed to attend review meetings held on 14.02.2025 and 20.02.2025 at Mandal Headquarters i.e. MCC, Ramasamudram Mandal and that the respondent authorities are not interfering with the petitioner’s discharging duties. 6. Given the instructions of respondent No.4, the without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, with the consent of learned counsel on either side, directing respondents 4 and 5 not to interfere with the petitioner’s discharging duties as Field Assistant of Anikera Gram Panchayat, Annamayya District, without following due process of law. No costs.
