The petition is filed contending that the minor daughter of the petitioner is missing and she has been abducted by respondent nos. 4 & 5. It is stated that the petitioner received a conference call from a mobile number stating that his daughter was safe with them and is presently in Rajasthan. R/SCR.A/6537/2024 ORDER DATED: 16/10/2025 2. The police have investigated the matter and have filed an affidavit today. In the affidavit, the steps taken by the police to trace the corpus have been elaborately described. Every step taken by the police has been indicated. It is also stated ultimately that the police would continue this investigation and would not hesitate to take any steps to secure and trace the corpus before this court. 3. Since we are satisfied that the affidavit indicates that the police have taken every possible step to trace the accused and since there is no material produced to show that the daughter of the petitioner is under the illegal custody of respondent nos. 4 & 5, we are constrained to dispose this writ petition. 4. However, we also direct the police to continue their investigation and ensure that the corpus is traced and her custody is restored to the petitioner. In case of any difficulty, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to make an R/SCR.A/6537/2024 ORDER DATED: 16/10/2025 application in this writ petition. 5.
