The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner for the following reliefs:
“1. That the petitioner by way of instant application most humbly and respectfully prays for issuance of writ(s), direction(s), order(s) of or in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to pay the pension with arrear of pension as well other retiral benefits and benefits of monetary compensation as because husband of the petitioner retired in the year 2008 and ultimately he died on 14.6.2023 without receiving any retiral benefits as

after retirement in the year 2008 nothing has been paid to the petitioner and after his death his heirs and legal representatives even after lapse of about long 17 Years;
AND/OR Be pleased to pass such other order(s) which deem fit and proper for conscionable justice to the petitioner.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after running pillar to post for long period, the husband of the petitioner submitted his representation on 08.09.2021 for redressal of his grievances but the respondent authorities did not pay any heed and sitting tight over the matter.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that though counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of 5th Respondent but it is the 6th Respondent who has to take a decision in the matter. He further submits that petitioner may be directed to file a fresh representation before respondent no.6 for redressal of her grievance.

Having regard to the fair submission of learned counsel for the parties, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the 6th Respondent who shall take a decision in the matter in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulation and pass a reasoned and speaking order with regard to the claim made in this writ application. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
