NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 14.02.2023 (Annexure-P) for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment. 2. The petitioner’s father was working as a Physical Education Teacher in St.Joseph’s High School, Hunsuru, Mysure District. He died on 02.01.2018, while he was in - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28412 WP No. 17187 of 2024 service. The petitioner, who is the son of the deceased employee filed an application for appointment on compassionate grounds on 17.11.2018 (Annexure-C). The Management, in turn, along with the relevant documents forwarded the same to the Education Department. The fourth respondent, by endorsement dated 16.01.2024 (Annexure-N) returned the file with a direction to submit other relevant documents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, thereafter, the Management submitted all the relevant records sought by the fourth respondent. But, the fourth respondent has not taken any action. Since the fourth respondent has not taken any action on the application filed by the petitioner for compassionate appointment, the petitioner is before this court. 4. In view of the above, it is suffice for this Court to direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 17.11.2018 (Annexure-C), in accordance - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28412 WP No. 17187 of 2024 with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. In view of disposal of the petition, all pending applications stand disposed of. Sd/- (H.T.
