23.06.2025. Therefore, he is before this Court.
5. Perusal of the material on record would go to show that, the petitioner and the injured victim had quarreled with each other on 10.06.2025. The petitioner after abusing the injured allegedly tried to strangulate his neck. At that time, at the intervention of other villagers, the first informant was rescued. It is alleged that the petitioner thereafter tried to dash his motorbike bearing registration No.KA-14-S-6726 and cause injuries to the victim. However, he had managed to escape.
6. Learned HCGP has fairly submittedthat victim has suffered only simple injury in the incident in question. However, he has brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner is a person with criminal antecedents. Under these circumstances, I am of the opinion that, the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of regular bail needs to be answered affirmatively by imposing appropriate conditions.
