(b) Declare that the petitioner is eligible to be considered as a member of Hindu Mannan Community as endorsed in Ext.P3 Community Certificate issued by the 5th respondent, while undergoing selection to the Medical and Allied Courses for the year 2024 conducted by the 4th respondent. (c) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the respondents to reckon the Community of the petitioner as ‘Hindu Mannan’ which is a Scheduled Caste Community while considering the candidature of the petitioner for selection to the Medical and Allied Courses, 2024 and to give her the consequential benefits by including her in the category of Scheduled Caste Community and by rearranging her rank in the list accordingly. 2. Going through the pleadings, I find that as against Exts.P4 and P5, the petitioner can approach the 2025:KER:27653 WP(C) No.35283 of 2024 4 Scrutiny Committee constituted under Section 9(2) of the Kerala (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates Act, 1996. 3. In view of the above, it would be only just and proper that the petitioner approaches the Scrutiny Committee with appropriate revision petition. If the petitioner prefers a revision petition within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, the Scrutiny Committee shall consider the same in accordance with law on merits after condoning the delay, if any.
