Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 63 of 2024 corresponding to S.T. No. 235 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 103(1) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla. 3. On 03.08.2024, some altercation took place in between the husband of the informant, namely, Basant Topp and this petitioner, who happens to be the brother-in-law (Dewar) of the informant. Suddenly, the petitioner picked up a burning log and assaulted the husband of the informant, due to which he succumbed to his injury. 4. It was submitted that even if the offence alleged is assumed to be true, this case will be made out under Section 105 of the B.N.S., 2023, as the occurrence was not premeditated. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla, in connection with S.T.
