By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- (i)
“That writ of mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondent authorities to remove the encroachment and unauthorized construction by the respondents No.5 and 6 upon Government/Forest land comprised in Khasra No.433/252/2, 252/1 and 252/2, situated in Up- Mohal Nihal Near Police Station Sadar, District Bilaspur, H.P. (ii) That strict action may kindly be taken against respondent No.5 and 6 for encroaching upon the Government land and raising thereon unauthorized construction and further, action may kindly also be
2 taken against the erring officers/officials who despite bringing all the facts to their notice by way of complaints have failed to remove the encroachment of the respondent No.5 and 6.”

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the private respondents on instructions submits that the unauthorized construction has already been demolished.

Be that as it may, in the light of the statement so made by the learned Senior Counsel, these proceedings are closed with the direction that the appropriate Authority shall visit the site to ensure as to whether the unauthorized construction has been demolished or not and if it is has not been demolished to the satisfaction of the Authority, then, needful be done by the private respondents within three weeks from today. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
