The grievance of the petitioner is that his application for issuance of passport has remained pending for considerable period on account of an adverse police verification report. Submission is that in one criminal case registered against him, no charge-sheet has been submitted against him till date. It is submitted that charge-sheet has been submitted against 08 other accused persons. 3. It seems that the petitioner has not brought the said fact to the knowledge of the Passport Officer as there is no such evidence on record. 4. Consequently, we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to apprise the Passport Officer of the said fact alongwith true attested copy of the instant order and in which event, the Passport Officer shall obtain report from the concerned police station and take decision in the matter positively within four weeks. .
