1. Through the medium of the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks the issuance of writs/directions, inter alia, in the nature of mandamus for commanding the learned Trial Court, that is, the Court of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kupwara, to dispose of the pending bail application having been filed on medical grounds, in an expeditious manner.
2. In the light of the grievance of the petitioner and the relief sought for, the instant petition is disposed of at this threshold stage with the direction to the learned Special Court under NIA Act for District Kupwara, to address the pending application of the petitioner and ensure the expeditious disposal of the same in accordance with law.
