Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that the petitioner’s father died on 18.11.2023 when the O.M dated 01.04.2017 was in operation, wherein it provides that the family member of the deceased Government servant would be provided Compassionate Family Pension. Mr. A. Ali accordingly submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the writ petition and make a claim for Compassionate Family Pension, as per the O.M dated 01.04.2017. Mr. P.K. Bora, learned counsel appears for the Elementary Education Department. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
