HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURESH REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 1993 OF 2025 ORDER: As per the directions of My Lord the Hon'ble the Chief Justice, this criminal petition has been allotted to this Bench by notice dated 25-03-2025 and the same is treated as part of the roster effective from 26-03-2025. 2. This criminal petition, under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short, 'BNSS'), is filed by the petitioner- accused No. 7 seeking to release him on bail in the event of arrest in crime No. 219 of 2024 of Yemmiganur Town Police Station, Kurnool District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 316 (5) and 318 (4) read with Section 3 (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri M.Srikanth, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner-accused No. 7, as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State would submit that the petitioner had already filed a petition seeking to quash the proceedings in the present crime vide Criminal Petition No. 3074 of 2025 and that the same 2 has been disposed of by this Court on 24-03-2025 directing the police to follow the procedure prescribed under Section 35 (3) of BNSS and also the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another1 and that therefore no orders are required to be passed in the present criminal petition. 4.
