Sri Bhole Ram, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is a contractor. He is required to get renewed and submit character certificate. His application stood rejected by orders dated 25th March, 2025 and 11th November, 2024 respectively made by respondent no.2 (the Commissioner) and respondent no.3 (the District Magistrate). He submits, two criminal cases, carrying accusation against his client regarding furniture misplaced, are pending. His client has been falsely implicated. He seeks interference. 2. Mr. Raj Mohan Upadhyay, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State. On query he submits, he does not have instruction that view taken by the Lucknow Bench in, interalia, Writ-C no.718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar Vs. State of U.P.) has been interfered with. 3. Impugned orders are set aside. Petitioner's application for character certificate is restored to respondent no.3. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order and copy of his application to said respondent. The authority will deal with the application pursuant to Anil Kumar (supra).
