It is contended that proceedings under Section 67 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was initiated against the petitioner in which an eviction order has been passed, which has been challenged in appeal. Petitioner has filed a stay application therein which is pending consideration. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that next date fixed in the matter is 2.9.2025. 2. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon the appellate court to proceed with the matter and make every endeavour to decide the stay application filed by the petitioner in his appeal either on the date fixed in the matter or within two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties. 3. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
