This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2, District Magistrate, District Rampur to decide the application dated 18.4.2022, pending before him, under section 30 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 expeditiously within stipulated period to be fixed by this Hon'ble court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that application filed under Section 30 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said application. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for a counter affidavit, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to decide the said application strictly in accordance with law, within two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
