The petitioner is the brother of the second respondent/defacto complainant. The defacto complainant's elder daughter, who is a minor, was in love affair with the petitioner. During their relationship, she became pregnant. At the time of delivery, only at the insistence of hospital authorities, FIR was registered. Now, the minor girl and the petitioner appeared before this Court and sought to compromise the matter amicably. 3. Taking note of the fact that the defacto complainant has been examined before the Trial Court, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings at this stage.
