GP FOR FISHERIES 2 The Court made the following order:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the following relief/s:- “…to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction declaring the inaction of the respondents in not disposing of the appeal filed by the petitioners on 02-01-2024 against illegal, grant of licences to the respondent Nos. 4 to 12 as illegal, arbitrary etc., and grant such other order or orders.…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents. 3. Succinctly, the present writ petition is filed for not disposing the appeal. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Fisheries department furnished written instructions dated 27.02.2025, which was addressed by the Joint Director of Fisheries, to the learned Government Pleader for Fisheries department, High Court of Andhra Pradesh. On perusal of the said written instructions, it transpires that appeal dated 02.01.2024, filed by the petitioner to the Commissioner of Fisheries, Andhra Pradesh, is not admitted and not treated as appeal, since the petitioner is not aggrieved person as per the Rule 27(1) of APSADA Rules 2020 and the appeal was treated as a complaint. On the petitioners complaint dated 02.01.2024, the District Fisheries Officer, 3 Bhimavaram, West Godavari, conducted inquiry and disposed the complaint of the petitioner vide Lr.No.1328/c1/2023 dated 01.03.2024 and communicated the same to the petitioners. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners denied receiving of the copy and stated that the petitioners have not received the proceedings vide Lr.No.1328/c1/2023 dated 01.03.2024. 6. However, the authority, who dealt with complaint is ordered to issue one more copy of the proceedings dated 01.03.2024 to the petitioners, when the petitioners approach personally. 7. If at all, the petitioners are aggrieved by the proceedings dated 01.03.2024, they are at liberty to file appropriate proceedings before the appropriate authority. 8. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
