This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "1. Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil- Karchhana, District-Prayagraj/ respondent no. 2 to registered the case and expedite the Demarcation Case No. NIL of 2024 (Praveen Kumar Mishra and others vs. Gram Panchayat) dated 20.04.2024 under section 24 of The U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within a stipulated period." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that an application dated 20.04.2024 under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, for demarcation is pending consideration before respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the Demarcation Case No. NIL of 2024 (Praveen Kumar Mishra and others vs. Gram Panchayat) dated 20.04.2024 under section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.
