According to them, they are entitled to Grade Pay of ₹5400/- as promotional pay scale, however the said benefit has not been given to them. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following relief: “I. To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to forthwith grant the promoted Pay Scale (Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-) to the petitioners from due date, details were given in paragraph 4 to the writ petition, along with arrears and admissible interest.” (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that coordinate Bench has decided Writ Petition (S/S) No. 737 of 2024; since the issues involved in both the cases are identical, therefore, this writ petition may also be decided in terms of the judgment passed in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 737 of 2024. (4) Learned State Counsel submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is decided in terms of the prayer made by learned Counsel for the petitioners. (5) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 8.5.2024, passed by coordinate Bench in 2025:UHC:8717 Writ Petition (S/S) No. 737 of 2024. Petitioners shall be at liberty to move representation within two weeks from today. If petitioners make representation within stipulated time, the competent authority shall examine their claim and take decision, as per law, within three months thereafter.
