Heard Sri Dhiraj Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. Present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated NIL passed by Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur (respondent no. 3), whereby application for issuance of character certificate of the petitioner has been rejected. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that controversy involved in the present case had already been considered in order dated 28.5.2025 passed by Lucknow Bench in bunch of writ petitions, wherein leading case was Writ-C No. 718 of 2025 for issuance of Character Certificate in such circumstances. He further submitted that petitioner is also entitled for interim order passed by the Lucknow Bench of this Court in the aforesaid case. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that in terms of order dated 28.5.2025 passed in Leading Writ Petition No.718 of 2025 alongwith connected matter, Character Certificate may be issued subject to the outcome of bunch of writ petitions pending in Lucknow Bench. 5. Under such facts and circumstances, present petition is disposed of in light of order dated 28.5.2025 passed in Leading Writ Petition No. 718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar vs. State of U.P. Thru Addl. Chief Secy. Deptt. of Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Amitrana, Dhiraj Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Manoj .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) Home Lko. And 3 Others) alongwith connected matter, with direction to respondent no. 3 to issue Character Certificate within four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him. 6. It is made clear that Character Certificate issued shall be subject to the outcome of Leading Writ Petition No. 718 of 2025 alongwith connected matter. October 6, 2025 A.P.
