RESPONDENTS [BY SRI KANTHARAJA V., ADVOCATE] THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER THE ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO QUASH THE AWARD DATED 25.07.2018 PASSED BY THE PRINCIPAL LABOUR COURT, BENGALURU IN I.D.NO.14/2016 VIDE ANNEXURE-C AND ETC., THIS PETITION IS COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED. 3 CONCILIATION ORDER In this petition, petitioner has prayed for quashing award dated 25.07.2018 in I.D.no.14/2016 passed by Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Bengaluru, vide Annexure-C. 2. After negotiations, parties have arrived at settlement. Accordingly, both parties have filed Joint Memo duly signed before Lok Adalath. Joint Memo reads as follows: "JOINT MEMO The WP filed against the award in ID No. 14/2016 Dated 25/07/2018 on the file of the Principal Labour court, BENGALURU has been settled between the parties on the following terms and the award may kindly be modified as under: 1. The Corporation has agreed to provide an appointment on compassionate grounds to one of the legal representatives of the deceased respondent workman, subject to their eligibility as per the prevailing guidelines of the Corporation. 2. The respondent/legal heirs are not entitled for any other terminal benefits such as continuity of service and consequential benefits from the date of dismissal. 4 The parties to the petition have set their hands to settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of conciliators on 13-12-2025 at BENGALURU Bench." Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of modifying award dated 25.07.2018 in I.D.no.14/2016 passed by Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Bengaluru, vide Annexure-C, in terms of Joint Memo.
