The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking following reliefs: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:27203 WP No. 13252 of 2024 a. Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus direct the respondent No.3 i.e., the Deputy Commissioner, Hassan District, Hassan to dispose of the Miscellaneous petition filed by the under Section 10(D) and 16 of Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 vide Annexure-H. b. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.3 to determine the compensation in accordance with the Right to Fair Compensation in Land Acquisition, Re-habilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 forthwith in respect of the subject matter of land which is utilized for 66 KV Power Transmission with all consequential benefits Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 3. The petitioner contents that he has filed a petition under Section 10(D) and 16 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 before the third respondent - Deputy Commissioner, Hassan District. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:27203 WP No. 13252 of 2024 respondent has not disposed of the same as of today. Hence, he is seeking a Mandamus directing the third respondent - Deputy Commissioner, Hassan District to dispose of the petition as expeditiously as possible. 4. A Mandamus is ordered directing the third respondent - Deputy Commissioner, Hassan District, Hassan to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner within two weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.
