This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent No. 2 (Sub Divisional Officer/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Chunar, Mirzapur) to decide the restoration application on 02.05.1986 in Case No. 112 of 1985 (Smt. Jagwanti Vs. State of U.P. & others), New Case No. RST/8856/2022, Computerized Case No. T202216530408856 filed by the uncle of the petitioner nos. 1 to 3 namely Ichchharam." 2. It is contended that restoration application No. RST/8856/2022, Computerized Case No. T-202216530408856 in Case No. 112 of 1985 is pending consideration before the respondent no. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said restoration application may be decided expeditiously. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the restoration application No. RST/8856/2022, Computerized Case No. T-202216530408856 in Case No. 112 of 1985, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
