The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application dated 24.11.2023 vide Annexure 'F' submitted to respondent No.2 requesting the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds. Respondent No.2 has not taken any steps to consider the application filed by the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition. 2. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that if a reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 would consider the application dated 24.11.2023 and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53866 WP No. 34838 of 2024 3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for respondent No.2, I proceed to pass the following order: ORDER (I) The writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 24.11.2023 vide Annexure 'F' in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
