The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer:- "a). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to sanction him Arms license of SBBL 12 Bore Gun No.7967 and Licence No.8380/P.S. Soraon, District Prayagraj to the petitioner on account of family heir loom transfer in pursuant application dated 12.02.2025." 3. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court dated 23.08.2025 instructions dated 27.08.2025 was placed before the Court, same is taken on record. 4. It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that final decision will be taken by the respondent no.2 expeditiously. 5. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage itself. 6. Taking into consideration the nature of relief sought by the Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : D.K.Ojha, Mudit Pratap Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Mohd. Hamza .....Petitioner(s) State of U.P. and Another .....Respondent(s) petitioner and without dwelling upon the merit of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.2-District Collector, Prayagraj to take a decision in the matter within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
