(Oral) It is the case of the petitioner that she had applied for OBC Certificate as she belongs to Gujjar Community. But, yet her application has not been decided by the respondent no.4/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun. The petitioner has to contest the Panchayat Elections, for which, Nomination will be closed on 05.07.2025. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that either the “Provisional Caste Certificate” may be granted to the petitioner or the respondent no.4/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun may be directed to decide the application dated 06.06.2025 of the petitioner, which is Annexure No.4 to the writ petition for obtaining “Caste Certificate” before the nomination is closed. 2 4. Learned State Counsel would submit that the application dated 06.06.2025 of the petitioner, which is Annexure No.4 to the writ petition for obtaining Caste Certificate, shall be decided before the last date of filling up of the nomination form. 5. The Court takes on record the statement given by the learned State Counsel. 6. The petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no.4/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun to decide the application dated 06.06.2025 of the petitioner, which is Annexure No.4 to the writ petition, prior to the last date of filling up of the nomination form, in accordance with law. The decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner, immediately after such decision is taken. 7. Learned State Counsel undertakes that he would communicate the order of the Court to the respondent no.4/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun.
