In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner, inter-alia, has prayed for a direction to Respondent Nos. 2 to 5, to re-measure the land of the Petitioner and to initiate the proceedings under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, within a fixed time limit. 2. The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the land of the Petitioner shall be re-measured and the award shall be passed within such time as may be directed by this Court. - 2 - wp3292.20.odt 3. In view of the aforesaid submissions and in the facts and circumstances of the case, and taking into account the fact that the prayer for re-measurement of the land is pending since 2019, we deem it appropriate to direct the competent authority to conclude the proceedings and to pass an award within a period of three months from today.
