The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khunti Mahila P.S. Case No. 06 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 376(2)(n), 313 & 417 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Manoranjan Kumar No.1, learned C.J.M., at Khunti. On the promise of marriage, petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix, who is a major lady, aged about 35 years. It appears that parties were in live-in-relationship for the last eight years. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Manoranjan Kumar No.1, learned C.J.M., at Khunti, in connection with Khunti Mahila P.S.
