The case of the petitioner is that the birth certificate was issued in his name in the year 1984. A complaint was given to the police, however, the documents were not able to be traced. 3. In view of the above, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents seeking issuance of a fresh birth certificate. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 13.02.2025 and do the needful within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
