According to petitioner, he is Secretary of a Society known as International Goodwill Society of India, Roorkee, District Haridwar. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned Order dated 02.01.2025 passed by respondent no. 2. (Annexure No. 1) (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of certiorari quashing the termination of PEC Members dated 18.06.2011. (Annexure No. 3) (iii) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent to renewal the Society registration of the Petitioner.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Deputy Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Haridwar has referred the dispute pertaining to the society in question to the Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits vide letter dated 02.01.2025, but no further development has been made at the level of Registrar thereafter. 2025:UHC:7580 4. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, to look into the matter which was referred to him by Deputy Registrar and take decision as per law, within six months from date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 5. It goes without saying that all the stakeholders shall be heard by the Registrar before passing any order.
