It is the contention of the petitioner that it is a registered Association formed and constituted for the welfare of Bhovi community and it takes up activities such as cultural, sports and other non-curricular activities. 3. The petitioner is seeking grant of 10.00 acres of land in Sy. No.13 of Gangappanahalli Village, Thavarekere Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, Bangalore Urban District. Attention of this Court is drawn to Annexure-A, which is a communication made by the Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk on 23.08.2010 to the petitioner - Association calling upon the Association to furnish certain documents. It is - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36070 WP No. 12261 of 2025 contended that the documents have been furnished accordingly. Attention of this Court is drawn to various other communications annexed to the writ petition. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner for grant of 10 acres of land, within a time frame. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the respondent No.4 Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District, to call for the records regarding the application filed by the petitioner, at the hands of respondent No.6 - Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk, and thereafter consider the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law. 5. The application filed by the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of by the Deputy Commissioner as expeditiously as possible, and, at any rate, within a - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36070 WP No. 12261 of 2025 period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
