GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 2 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION No. 5119 OF 2025 ORDER: The Writ Petition is filed questioning inaction of the respondents in withholding a net amount of Rs.4,35,441/- (Gross: Rs.4,94,067/-) even after finalizing the bills payable to the Petitioner in relation to the work i.e., “providing CC Road from new house to nageswari general store at Lakshmipuram in ward No.19 in Rayachoty Municipality under GGMP fund, vide Agreement No.609/2023-2024, dated 11.12.2023”. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel passed on written instructions received by him, signed by the Commissioner, Rayachoty Municipality, wherein it was mentioned at paragraph No.4 that the Petitioner had executed the work as stipulated under agreement referred above and that the payment could not be made due to lack of funds. It was further mentioned that the Municipality will be paying the amounts as and when the amounts are released under GGMP-HIW Grant, without any delay. 3. In view of the aforesaid submissions and also considering the fact that there is no dispute with regard to the execution of 3 work and the amounts due to the Petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition with the following direction: (i) The Respondent-Corporation is directed to pay the amounts due to the Petitioner within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
