The petitioner is challenging the registration of FIR No.4 of 2025, on the file of the Prohibition and Excise Police Station, Vijayawada East. 2. The petitioner is arraigned as Accused No.3, and it is alleged that the petitioner, in connivance with the other accused, has committed the offence under Section 34(a) read with 34(a)(ii) of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Amendment Act, 2020. 3. The petitioner was granted bail by this Court on 10.02.2025. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is now called to the police station every week for the purpose of investigation and that he is being retained at the police station without any prima facie evidence. 4. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that 12 liquor bottles were seized from the possession of Accused No.1 and submits that investigation is pending. 5. The Station House Officer, Prohibition and Excise Police Station, Vijayawada East, is hereby directed to expedite the investigation, and it is open for the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet, if so aggrieved.
