The only prayer made in the present petition is to direct the respondent Nos. 2 and 3/Zonal Office-Commissioner of Police, Varanasi-2nd and Range Office- Additional Commissioner of Police, Varanasi-1st Appellate Authority, District Varanasi respectively to decide the appeal of the petitioner bearing No. 3199725112249201 of 2024 and No. 3199725112249101 pending before him since 12.07.2025 and 05.07.2025, expeditiously. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner to considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent No.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/Zonal Office-Commissioner of Police, Varanasi-2nd to decide the aforesaid appeals most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
