1. This is an ofÏce reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 24.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4490 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Ranjit Tandon had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Bilaspur (C.G) vide his request letter dated 29.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN
2 time for concluding the trial.
4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, the statements of 06 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and the statements of 04 prosecution witnesses are yet to be recorded. The case was fixed for prosecution evidence on 30.01.2025 and 31.01.2025. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
