The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 148 of 2023 arising out of Seraikella P.S. Case No. 71 of 2023, for the offences registered under Section 302, 201 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Seraikella. 3. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased namely Jima Gagrai who was stoned to death outside his house. It is alleged that prior to the occurrence, there was quarrel between the petitioner and the deceased and thereafter, the occurrence has taken place. 4. Mr. Tarun Kumar, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that out of five witnesses, four witnesses have already been examined in this case. 5. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial is at the fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
