The only prayer made in the present petition is to direct the respondent No.2/Joint Commissioner, Food and Civil Supply, Gorakhpur Region, Gorakhpur to decide the Appeal/Case No. 2090/2024 (Computer Case No. C202405000002090) (Bharatmani Patel Vs. Up Ziladhikari, Sadar, Maharajganj) under section 13(1) of U.P. Essential Commodity, (Sale and Distribution Regulation) Act in respect of which judgment has already been reserved on 17.03.2025, expeditiously. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner to considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent No.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/Joint Commissioner, Food and Civil Supply, Gorakhpur Region, Gorakhpur to decide the aforesaid appeal most expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order unless there is no other illegal impediment.
