The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to issue passport to the petitioner in pursuance of his application dated 07.05.2024. 2. It seems that passport has not been issued on account of adverse police verification report pertaining to Case Crime No.542 of 2020, under Sections 452, 307, 323, 427, 120B IPC, Police Station Sadar Bazar, Commissionarate Agra. 3. The case of the petitioner is that the police after investigation has submitted a final report in the said matter. However, there is no evidence as to whether final report has been accepted or not. 4. In view of the above, we leave it open for the petitioner to file relevant evidence before respondent No.2 in relation to his claim that criminal case has come to an end and in which event, respondent No.2 would examine the same and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, within four weeks thence. 5.
